Chancellor Block joined UCLA Anderson School of Management leaders and the campus community at a ceremonial groundbreaking event to celebrate Marion Anderson Hall.

The spaces in the new Marion Anderson Hall are designed to enhance student and faculty interactions.

Chancellor Block remarked, “The Anderson legacy is everywhere when you look around the university.”

In May 2015, Marion donated an unprecedented gift of $100 million to fund research and fellowships, with $40 million earmarked for the state-of-the-art building that bears her name.
