Advancement Services (AS) is an internal professional team that coordinates and performs vital administrative, financial and technology services to External Affairs departments, campus partners, and external constituents. AS facilitates and supports the broad range of activities through value-added services, including data governance, financial management and reporting, gift processing, and policy compliance. AS maintains the database of record for all private support given to the University, a CRM system that comprises a cumulative record of all alumni and donors, including all biographic and degree information, gifts, areas of giving, and purpose for which the gifts were given. Our engagement, fundraising, and advocacy efforts rely on the integrity and accuracy of gift and biographical information entered into this complex database. This department is a key partner in major initiatives across EA that span financial functions, business applications and system technologies.
