David Geffen, Chancellor and UCLA Health leaders dedicate new medical school home

Chancellor Block joined philanthropist David Geffen and the campus community in dedicating Geffen Hall, the new home of medical education at UCLA.

“David Geffen understands the power and potential of having a world-class research university in an extraordinary city,” Chancellor Block said. “His unparalleled support has provided the resources to ensure that our campus remains among the best for many years to come.”

Geffen Hall is named in recognition of David Geffen’s extraordinary generosity and support of the UCLA medical school, widely regarded to be among the nation’s leaders in research, patient care, medical education and community service.
